It's very difficult to figure out the solution for the tree you are providing. Can you please explain the approach you used?
In general it's hardly the case that the problem setters have messed up the testcases. If they are showing 15 as the answer that is because 15 is probably the correct answer.
It's impossible, ans can't be 15. Every removed edge creates a new tree. 15 removals will result in 16 trees. How could 30 nodes be divided in 16 trees with >= 2 nodes each?
