There are some great geometry based problems, and many geometric algorithms. Are you saying convex hull, sweepline, delaunay, winding algorithm, shape folding, etc. is not cp, or at least coding (though I have seen all examples as cp problems).

You're not a real competitive programmer if you never participated in a contest while attending a party.

I also participated in each of: bus, train, car. Maybe once I tried to finish some code in a plane (before the take-off).

Ok this isn't exactly a place, I misread the blog, but it is a funny story all the same: Was competing in a div3, and I saw the neighbor's cat fall out the window. The neighbor happened to be my brother's band mate's sister's fiance, so instead of recursive function calls I ended up making a set of recursive phone calls. The fiance was out of the house, but fortunately he took the shortest path back home and saved his cat after all. My rating was saved by the fact that I was an unofficial participant.

Ok I will answer about the situations, not place. Actually, I can say I rarely did contest in suitable conditions. 1- Most of my contests were at the time of my return from university when I am tired and sleepy, so most of them I sleep after about one hour of the start of the contest. 2- (In our country because of war and US sanctions, the electricity is switched on/off every two or three hours during the day) Many of contests I did, I knew that the electricity (and internet) will be switched off in the middle of the contest, but I did (part of) them. 3- I fast 90 days each year, and the regular time of codeforces contests are exactly at the last period I can not eat or drink in it, and even I was thirsty and hungry did not miss any contest because of this. I think my rating graph explains the situations too much.

I had a stomachache in 4 local onsite contests, and in all of them, I had to excuse myself to the rest room. Sitting on the toilet of a foreign place and smelling my own stinky droppings caused the brain bricking syndrome, preventing me from using my toilet time to think of solutions, and left me with a huge disadvantage.

Hmm. You've just given me a good idea for my comic. Thank you!

I participated in a contest (not on Codeforces) while I was at my friend's place for a party (kind of). Everyone was enjoying food and jokes while I was still trying it hard on C. Didn't turn out well for me though, couldn't concentrate as my friends were so damn wild, LOL!

Also, this is not about a contest, I did upsolve some problems while in class where I pretended to complete my programming assignment (which I had already completed about an hour ago) in front of my professor, switching windows whenever he came near me like I was stealing something. LOL! And yes, this did turn out well for me, and I did it many times.

Once, after a contest I was waiting for a huge loss on rating like -150 or around.

But after that day, I saw that one my solution significantly coincides with one of contestants(Will you Believe that? I also can't believe that for an hour.). And I was unrated for that contest.

That was a weird and most funniest contest in CF contests.

Well, I've never expected Kaycee or Bailey would ever participate competitive programming(or even get involved in this subject)... My weirdest thing was about a code file, which I typed character by character, got skipped. I gradually ACed(and ranking 1st xd), but that's still a confusing experience. What's the possibility for it to happen?

Hahaha, the computer had no password and whenever I was thinking about a problem I would step away and one of my friends would start checking the computer out. We managed to pull this off for about 45 minutes, just enough time to submit enough problems to qualify for the next round.

If I miss a contest due to some unexpected reason (like loadshedding or sudden emergency) and get upset and angry about that, there is a chance that the round is going to be unrated for some reason. It happened several times.
