I love gaming . Sometimes I play 12-15 hours a day . I know that it's a big burden for problem solving. So recently i deleted all of my games and started focusing on problem solving. Now I am feeling more depressed :( I want to become a good coder . So is it possible to become a good problem solver and play games at the same time?
Yes, most of the day I play Valorant(I am Candidate Master so I am like top 10 percentile). tmwilliamlin168 plays Minecraft. A lot of grandmasters play. Because no one can work 24/7(except if he has a target he really wants to achieve. In that case, he can work a lot but still not forever)
How do your manage both? Can you explain your time management more? Thanks in Advance
I usually participate in contests if I have the time. And I try to put all the effort I can in that contest(upsolve after contest what I couldn't, read editorial of what I couldn't get, etc...). This method worked really well. I sometimes upsolve in general when I am bored from gaming.
I left all of my games. (There's still one which I have kept aside for the time being.. I plan on returning if I ever hit 1600)
I am currently engaged into a rather not so mainstream media (Vtubers).
Mostly during breaks.
Well I think playing games where strategy making and thinking are involved are not bad.
I myself play competitive pokemon and also code. we just need the perfect balance.
