mathsman's blog

By mathsman, history, 2 weeks ago, In English

Hey, I am currently a newbie in coding and have taught myself python in the last 6 months, very new I know.

Through Codeforces, I hope to be able to develop my proficiency in Python first by going through the problems in the problemset tab.

So, I'm making this blog just as a motivation to keep coding and not slack off :)

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated on this journey to 1200.

Thank you..

So your target is just to be proficent in python?? Then u can continue with it, without worrying about your rating. But if u want to seriously dive deep in cp go for c++ instead or at least java.

To get proficient in python, maybe do some small projects. Like create a game or something. Competitive programming might teach some bad coding habits is all. I'm not saying quit it completely but make sure you're doing projects also. Best of luck!
