Hello Codeforces,

ICPC NU Community proudly presents NUCPA 2026, Egypt’s largest student-led competitive programming contest, organized by students, for students.

This is the 2nd edition of NUCPA, building on the success of last year, which saw over 800 applicants from more than 90 institutions across Egypt competing for a prize pool of 25,000 EGP. NUCPA is primarily designed for the Egyptian competitive programming community, while welcoming participants from around the world. The contest follows the ICPC style, providing a fair and challenging environment that encourages learning, teamwork, and growth.

How the Contest Works

The contest begins with a free online qualification round on Saturday, February 14th, 2026, at 8:35 PM Egypt Time (EET, UTC+2)..
Top teams from the online round will advance to the onsite final, held on Friday, April 17th, 2026, at Nile University, Egypt.

Both rounds follow standard ICPC judging rules, ranking teams by the number of solved problems and penalty time.

Who Can Join?

Participants must be 25 years old or younger
Compete in teams of two
Open to students and non-students

International participants are welcome; however, visa sponsorship or assistance is not provided.

Prizes and Special Awards

The onsite final features a 30,000 EGP prize pool for the top-performing teams.

Additional special awards are given to:
- Teen teams (all members 18 or younger)
- Nile University teams (all members from NU)

All participants will receive official certificates.
