The first day of the Olympicode Open Olympiad has concluded. Thank you to everyone who participated!

The scoreboard for the first day can be found here.

The editorials for the first day can be found here.

It seems that the problems were a tad easier than expected for the very best people, but hopefully everyone enjoyed them :-). The first two problems (Jolly Tree Buddies and Almost Sorted) were proposed by me; while the third (Base Jump) was proposed by the Yoneda twins: : E869120 and square1001. Thanks to them for the task.

If you have any feedback for the Olympicode platform, please contact us, or use the "Report Issue" button on the website. If you have any feedback for the problems, or interesting solutions, please share them below!

The editorial and results of the second day will be uploaded after the second day (shocker!).

Update (Day 2): The second day of the Olympicode Open Olympiad has concluded.

Hello everyone!

We'd like to announce an olympiad style contest that will be held on our new Olympicode Judge — the Olympicode Open Olympiad!

What is the difficulty level and format of the contest?

The contest is envisioned as a warm-up for the IOI and similar international olympiads. So, it will be two days with 3 IOI-style tasks and the contest will be 5h. It will probably, on average, easier than the IOI, but it should still be fun for OI-level participants.

When is the contest?

The first day will be on Saturday, July 5 2025 at 09:30 UTC, while the second day will be on Sunday, July 6 2025 at 09:30 UTC.

Which programming languanges are allowed?

The only supported languages will be C++ and Python.

Who can participate?

Everyone is welcome to participate (as the name says!).

How do I register?

Head over to olympicode.rs and register. That's it!

Will there be rewards?

The top 5 participants will get Olympicode-branded hoodies.

Who is setting the tasks?

Most of the tasks are authored by me :-), with one task authored by the Yoneda twins: E869120 and square1001!

If you're not acquainted with me or my problems, MladenP created a collection of some of my problems in this group, as well as conducted an interview, a while back.

Who is creating the contest?

I'd like to thank MladenP and milisav for the brilliant Olympicode platform :-). They'll also be participating in preparing and testing this contest, as well as handling stuff on the back-end.

Will the system crash and burn?

Hopefully not! If, however, you notice a problem, please use the "Report issue" button on the website.
