So during yesterday's contest I have received these messages in my talk:

Of course the first thing I had in mind was to report this, but I couldn't find a way to do so hence I made this blog.

I might as well add, receiving messages during a contest is very distracting, so MikeMirzayanov can we make notifications for messages sent during a contest appear only after the contest?

This is so provocative and diverting attention. I would suggest not allowing everybody to message you, but set users of + certain rating to be allowed to write you. Like this attached photo I guess a +expert won't do this foolish act done by only temp accs

You can also block users from messaging you again

I won't want to do so because sometimes there are beginners who use messages to ask for help, and I don't want to turn anyone down.

I do think that disabling message notifications during contests should be sufficient. Maybe adding a report feature in talks to avoid the need to make blogs like this in the future will help too.
