Hello codeforces!
As some of you might know, the IOI publishes the minutes for their GA meetings every year on their website. I personally find these recordings to be rather insightful, and can say that it is thanks to them that I understand the inner workings of the IOI better now. And above all, they can be super entertaining :))
However, it seems that no other prominent OI does the same — the IOI is the only contest I could find that carefully minutes their meetings. I believe that this is a great loss to our community: The discussions and debates that lead to contests doing what they do are left behind closed doors, to be weighed by nobody ever again. I'm guessing that most organizations simply do not bother carefully minuting their meetings — but now, with EGOI'25 in full swing, I believe we can push for a change. The decisions made in these meetings (especially EGOI) can sometimes significantly influence the general olympiad community. I believe it would be in all our best interests to choose to be transparent about these processes and carefully record them — not just for us, but also for future generations. Therefore, I kindly request that OI organizations besides the IOI also consider following in their footsteps.
