I was wondering how much your rating changed over the course of 2025.
According to my statistics, my rating was 1431 in December 2024, and it is now 1702. This means I gained 271 points during 2025.
I would be interested to hear about your results and progress as well. Looking forward to your responses.
It was 1455, and now it's 1708. So it's 253. Hope it will be bigger next year;)
I went from 0 to 1176, which is a big leap. But most of it was probably from converging with my true skill, not from improvement. I hope to gain more rating from true improvement in 2026!
Actually, your rating in the first 6 contests is a bit of a lie. internally, codeforces starts new accounts at 1400 but shows their rating at 0, then over 6 contests it adds extra rating to get you caught up with the internal rating. more details here: https://mirror.codeforces.com/blog/entry/77890.

Wow that is pretty substantial as what i guess is essentially a 4x improvement. Any tips and guidance like what was your problem selection strategy and what and how did you approach problems, when did you read edis and what resources did you use.

Last december , I had rating of 1085 , then there was great kickstart at start of 2025 , but in middle I couldnt keep consistency , finally ending up with 1578 ...
I will try to consistently upsolve 1700-2000 rated problems and do continuous practice to keep fire in both open source and cp.
