Why don't we just implement phone verification in Codeforces to deal with cheaters? We could make it so that anyone above expert needs it or something like that.
(We could also flag as sus anyone whose prefix is +91).

how would phone verification stop cheating, they could still just cheat. wouldn't it only get rid of bots?
problem is cheater create another id after getting banned on 1, so phone verification will solve that
and when they will finally get banned they will have no option to continue more
There are many students who practice on CodeForces as well, many of them might not have phones or study in schools where phones are not allowed.
