Rank vs Rating feels not accurate, got my best rank still +4 in rating ... Can anyone explain

Yes, your ranking was lower than in all your previous contests, but there were also fewer people; you placed 6000 out of 11000, which in previous rounds of, for example, 20000 people would translate to a ranking of 10000.
