I have started codeforces after a long time of my college. I am interested solve problems and participating in the contests and even some have rating 500. still I am unable to do it,
How to make it well and do good.
How can i build a strong problem solving approach.

UpSolve all previous div 4 contests. That should be a good starting point.

I think learning binary search and two pointers should be enough for solving div4 A — E after that you can learn new things when you encounter it.

go solve logic questions im not joking like a normal logic question not codding it will keep firm your hand while u do them your brain will improve and u will start regognizing patterns even fater than the non logic problem solver blive me worked on me it will essentially help u in april fools contest and also mathematical questions where theres a formula wich u need regognize pattern and find it and also it would be much easier for you to visualize graph algoritms or find where to use wich if u'r logic is godly and your math is godly then the only thing that helds u from is the lack of algoritm knowledge

Consistency matters more.Try solving problems regularly,,it helps build logic & improves problem solving ability over time.Also,,participate in Div.4 contests,,,upsolve previous contest problems,and try to solve div.2 A and B problems..
