Why is the contest frequency being reduced so much ? Just one contest in a week or two T_T

Yesterday , I gave the meta hacker cup , where I faced a lots of issue due to error page being popping up on every submission of the solution. A peculiar thing happened with me in B2. I submitted the output file and the code, which as usual showed error, so I submitted again which got presentation error, as by mistake I had submitted another file. So, according to the rule, my last submission would be judged. But , I knew that it was presentation error due to submission of wrong file , I could have submitted the right file , but again it started showing errors. So the timer finished and I couldn't submit. Please clarify.
