Hi, I’m richyrik.

I solve problems on Codeforces and LeetCode. That’s pretty much the only thing I do consistently.

I’m in my 3rd year, and honestly, I have no clear direction. Everyone keeps suggesting something different — Web Dev, DevOps, ML, AI — and I’m just stuck in the middle, doing CP and wondering if it’s enough.

My college offers zero help. No guidance, no exposure, no real college life. Just deadlines.

I know CP improves problem-solving, but the job market wants projects and “real skills”. That gap is confusing and frustrating.

I don’t have a conclusion. This post isn’t advice or motivation — just a thought dump.

If you’ve been here before and figured it out, I’d like to know how.
