I get a lot of tips that i should see top coders/programmers code just to get some new information.

its always a good idea to learn from others code and while doing so you sometimes face issues with comprehending their solution, what I do in this type of situation is to break the code into chunks and pinpoint the exact stuff that is incomprehensible after which I either do dry run or simply debug using print.

In the example above, int count[26]{0}; is an integer array of size $$$26$$$ and initialised with $$$0$$$, this s[i]-'a' basically converts the char stored at $$$i^{th}$$$ to its respective ASCII code and subracts that from the ASCII code of 'a' which results in index from $$$0 - 25$$$. For example, 'a' - 'a' = $$$0$$$, 'b' - 'a' = $$$1$$$, ..., 'z' - 'a' = $$$25$$$.

Bonus: You can use this same trick to convert char digit to int, '0' - '0' = $$$0$$$, '1' - '0' = $$$1$$$ etc

Why is uploading images in codeforces blog and comments so hard, is there any other way. What I currently do is, first upload the image on some other third party service like imgbb and then copy the image link.

MikeMirzayanov I think the rating points given for this contest needs to be re-evaluated, as I didn't solve any problems, with -3 penalty, still I got +37 for this contest whereas all others who solved one or more problems got negative points, pls take a look.

I did the same mistake during the contest, the problem states that we can add any non-negative integer so if sum < n we will always print 1

I would like add one point here that quality matters not quantity. For example Blood_Wu_Ren became master after solving 353 problems whereas sgtlaugh became a master after solving 1578 problems and rainboy became master after solving 3250 problems(more than tourist). There is no direct relation between problems and rating. I'm a newbie right now but would like to suggest that you try to figure out where exactly you're making mistakes while solving and as other users suggested try solving problems above your current level.

I think atleast 50% college students in India take part in CP and 5 — 10% are really serious coders. Though we can't really find an approx figure on this subject.
