During my school time :(

No worries better luck with next div.3 contest

lotteries are scams

What I tried was let a = #of swords taken by you and b = #taken by accomplice, iterate over all valid pairs (a, b) then determine how much space each person has left and therefore how many war axes each can take. If the amount of space left allows each person to take more war axes than the value w, limit this value to w and then add to a + b. Is this wrong and if so any example as to why it would be (it didnt pass)?

absolute. legend.

For B, i feel like my sol would pass with 2 sec limit, but if not that is fine, I can move on

1 sec time limit is pretty rough for java?

Educational is meant to have more standard problems, so they are generally easier

I remember this issue,

say you find alternating sequence of length K, but K is odd, then you take one less to make it even.

you can just say K = K / 2 * 2

If its through hackkerank, why only cpp?

but, its an interesting suggestion.

Perhaps consider taking the time to slowly learn those more complicated topics?

You will reach a certain level and not get any better if you restrict your practice to only things you know. If you come across a problem with editorial mentioning a topic you are weak in, you will learn so much more from understanding that problem than doing 100 problems of things you already know

I appreciate this, as there are some real rip off tutors online.

But I also assure you if you attempted to monetize it for a reasonable amount monthly or something like that people would very willingly pay.

Very nice that you guys genuinely care more about growing the community than making money.

At the end of the day, CP is not supposed to be anything but fun. For me (and I'm by no means good at CP) CP is a good way to get better at creative problem solving, so don't worry about the number that follows the word "rating:" on your profile.

Has email been sent out? I have not received anything...

Where will contest be held? Codeforces? And also will emails be sent to those who filled out the registration form prior beforehand?

Must payment come before the admission contest? What if I am not sure if I want to attend but might want to try contest to see?
