VNOI Cup 2025 — Round 2 Invitation

Hello Codeforces! We invite you to join Round 2 of VNOI Cup 2025!

⚠️ For international participants (including those who participated in round 1): you will now compete alongside Vietnamese contestants in the main contest. The results from the first round will be merged afterward. Top performers will be invited to join the Final Round onsite in Vietnam, where they will compete in the Open Division — a separate onsite leaderboard from the official Vietnamese contestants. To maintain the fairness of the contest, all international participants must identify themselves as such on the VNOJ website (a guide on how to do so can be found here).

⚠️ Please note that invited participants from the Open Division will need to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses. However, VNOI will assist with hotel booking to make logistics easier for you. We will send our invitation to the top 10 international participants ranked by the sum of scores of the two rounds.

By participating, you will get a chance to compete with finest competitors, IOIers, and upcoming talents – all tackling our unique problem set, rich in logical depth and intricate implementation!

VNOI Cup is a Competitive Programming contest organized by VNOI (Vietnam Olympiads in Informatics community) — a group of passionate Vietnamese programmers just like you, united in making programming competitions more exciting and challenging across Vietnam. As a non-profit organization, we’re committed to fostering the development of competitive programming in the country, and this contest is one of the many efforts we’re making toward that mission.

The contest will feature 7 problems to be solved in 180 minutes. Points for problems increase with difficulty. Each problem may consist of multiple subtasks, and you only earn points for a subtask if you pass all test cases for that subtask. Penalty points are calculated as the time of the last scoring submission plus 5 minutes for each incorrect submission. Contestants are ranked by total points, with ties broken by ascending penalty points. The second round starts on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at 20:00 PM GMT+7.
