The Harker Programming Club is excited to invite any female-identifying students to participate in our annual Girls Programming League Challenge!
The GPL Challenge is a half-day, virtual event comprising a programming contest, panel discussion, and awards. This year, the theme of our contest will be CS & Fitness. The contest will take place on September 20, from 9:00 AM — 1:00 PM PST. Teams can consist of 1-3 members, and the winning teams will receive awards of up to $100 per team member. There will be two divisions: novice and advanced, so students with any level of skill can participate.
The details of the event are listed below: 1. Event Name: Girls Programming League 2025 1. Date: September 20, 2025 (Saturday) 1. Time: approximately 8:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. PST 1. Participants: Female-identifying students, in teams up to 3 1. Location: Virtual (Zoom) 1. Prizes: $100 per person for the top-scoring team, additional prizes for other placing teams
