I have recently qualified for the IOI team of the country of my nationality. I, however, live in China(not the country of my nationality). By IOI rules, I am not allowed to represent my country because 1. I am not a resident and 2. I am not studying abroad (I have lived in China my whole life). I am, however, also not allowed to represent the Chinese IOI team in any way because I do not have a Chinese ID. This means that according to IOI rules there is no country that I am eligible to represent. I was wondering if anyone knew about some other IOI participant who was in a similar place as me. Also if anyone has any advice on something that I should do/try, much help is appreciated!
