Ukrainian Olympiad in Informatics 2023 — Mirror

On April 11 and 12 the Ukrainian Olympiad in Informatics 2023 took place. Because of the war, the Olympiad took place in the regional centers of Ukraine and in Warsaw.

The problems were created by RomaWhite, BigBag, Barichek, antontrygubO_o, I_LOVE_DASHA_KARPENKO, Denisov, VladProg, Grogu, TheScrasse, bortoz, Kaey, andr1y

The mirror will take place on April 15 and 16. It will start at 11 AM Kyiv time. You can choose any 5-hour window to participate. The problems will be available in Ukrainian and English. Everyone is welcome to participate (except for the participants from the terrorist state).

EJOI 2022 — Practice Round

The EJOI 2022 Practice Round is now available with free registration on Eolymp.

In order to introduce the system to the EJOI participants, we have uploaded previous EJOI problems to our system. All the links are available below.

For 2017, 2020, and 2021, the participants can read the problems in their native language (if the problems were translated to that language that year).

According to the EJOI rules, only C++ is supported.

The first two links are for the virtual contests. Participants can start the contest, and the timer for 4 hours will start. They will be able to submit their solutions only during that time. This is something similar to USACO style. In the third contest, you can upsolve problems as long as you want.

Codeforces Global Rounds 2019: Final Results

In 2019, with the support of XTX Markets, 6 rounds of the new Codeforces Global Rounds were held. Each round was common for both divisions and had 7–9 problems. The duration of the rounds was 2-3 hours, depending on the number and complexity of the problems. All such rounds were rated for all participants. At each such round, 50 brand T-shirts were handed out, and we gave T-shirts to all authors and problem testers as well.

The prizes for the 6-round series in 2019:

  • In each round, top-100 participants get points according to the table.
  • The final result for each participant is equal to the sum of points he gets in the four rounds he placed the highest.
  • The best 20 participants over all series get sweatshirts and place certificates.

SEERC 2019 and Grand Prix of Southeastern Europe

Hi everyone,

I am happy to announce that the 2019 Southeastern Europe Regional Contest will take place on October 19 in Bucharest and Vinnytsia at 10 am UTC+3. The link to the live results will be published here after the start of the competition.

Moreover, in the following day, there will be the Grand Prix of Southeastern Europe based on these problems at 8 am UTC. If you do not participate in it, you will be able to take part in online mirror, which will be available at the same time.

Because of the Grand Prix, we are asking the official contestants not to discuss the problems in public.

After it, we will upload the contest to the gym and publish the editorial.

Codeforces Round 591 (and Technocup — Elimination Round 1)

Hi all!

This weekend, on Oct/06/2019 18:05 (Moscow time) we will hold Codeforces Round 591. It is based on problems of Technocup 2020 Elimination Round 1 that will be held at the same time.

Technocup is a major olympiad for Russian-speaking high-school students, so if you fall into this category, please register at Technocup 2020 website and take part in the Elimination Round.

Div. 1 and Div.2 editions are open and rated for everyone. Register and enjoy the contests!

I am happy to announce that Lyft Level 5 Challenge 2018 — Final Round will be held in Palo Alto on Nov/04/2018 21:10 (Moscow time). The official round contains six problems and will last for two hours.

Thus, I bring to your attention my new Codeforces Round #495 (Div. 2) with interesting tasks that will take place on Jul/05/2018 19:35 (Moscow time). Codeforces Round #371 takes place on 13 September at 19:35 MSK for the both divisions. This is our first round and we hope it won't the last one.

This round is prepared by me (Anton Tsypko) and Sonechko (Sofia Melnyk).
