We are glad to announce the Moscow International Workshop 2021 that will be held from November 21 till November 27! We are ready to tell you about our boot camp – the Moscow International Workshops 2021 for competitive programming. The boot camp will be held in a distance format for two divisions: A and B.

Student teams from all over the world are invited to participate. The training is in English.

What will be included in the program:

– five 5-hour contests;

– access to the stream, video recording and materials of the contest analysis;

– access to the stream, video recording and materials of the lectures (for div.B);

– lectures from teachers of leading Russian universities, as well as former participants and winners of the ICPC.

And on the start day, participants will be able to test themselves in the championship held as part of the RuCode 4.0 festival.

Why do we need Moscow Workshops?

The Moscow International Workshops boot camps help prepare for the stages of the ICPC student world championship in sports programming, as well as improve hard skills in algorithms and teamwork, which is also very important! Another argument – in October 2021, 11 out of 12 ICPC medalists were trained at Moscow Workshops. Agree, the statistics are pretty impressive!

Hurry up to assemble your team and join! You can register for participation here: https://it-edu.com/ly5m

We welcome high school students to take part in the programming boot camp Moscow Workshops Juniors that will be held on February 24 – March 5 by Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. The first qualifying online round (out of 3 or 4) will be open on December 27 at 12:00 pm UTC+03.

Moscow Workshops Juniors is the unique boot camp where students will be preparing for the national competitions and international olympiads in informatics. According to the statistics, 17 graduates of MWJ 2020 took part in the IOI and 11 of them won medals.

Two years ago we started an English-speaking group at Moscow Workshops Juniors for students from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, India, Italy, Syria, and Turkey. Last year guys from Netherlands and Romania also came to Russia. In total about 170 students participate in the boot camp every year. We would be glad to see everyone again in Dolgoprudny, but this year the school will be completely online.

The program includes contests, thematic lectures and practice, and other activities. According to the results of the introductory contest, the participants will be divided into divisions depending on their level. All the students can choose the most interesting topics and make an appropriate training program.

To take part in Moscow Workshops Juniors, you need to register on our website and pass one of the qualifying online tours. The duration of each tour is 4 hours and its format is similar to olympiads in informatics. Medalists of the International Olympiad in Informatics are invited to enroll at the boot camp without solving qualifying online tours.

Login and password for access to the tour will appear in your personal account after registration. You can take the test tour right now.

The cost of participation will be announced later.

Should you have any questions, don’t hesitate to write us zksh-team@phystech.edu

Good news about Moscow Pre-Finals Workshop 2020!

Due to the difficult epidemiological situation in the world, and also taking into account the depreciation of the ruble against the dollar, we decided to recalculate the cost of participation for teams from non-EAEU countries. Thus, the current cost of participation for one non-EAEU team is $690.

Also, we updated Moscow Pre-Finals Workshop 2020 discount system:

  • Yandex increases the quota for free participation in the Workshop for teams from the Northern Eurasia region. 20 teams will be chosen based on the results of the third stage (four rounds) of OpenCup in Division A — opencup.ru. The fourth and final round will take place this Sunday, March 29.
  • All ICPC 2020 finalists receive a 50% discount.
  • Discounts by Moscow Workshops remain the same: 80, 60, 40 and 20 percent discount respectively for the first four teams in the standings based on the results of the third stage (four rounds) of OpenCup in Division B. Remember about OpenCup round on March 29!
  • On April 4 at 11:00 will be held a four-hour “A -” level contest (entire div.B and lower half of the div.A ranking) to distribute discounts to sixteen teams. ICPC 2020 finalists and teams that received prizes from Yandex can participate only out of the competition. Thus, 16 more teams will receive a 50% discount on participation in the Moscow Pre-Finals Workshop 2020.

Discounts from different list items cannot be summarized. Only teams that meet the basic ICPC eligibility requirements in this or future seasons can apply for discounts (ICPC veterans cannot apply for discounts).

More details about the new discounts: https://bit.ly/2JhR724

Registration for teams from EAEU countries: http://bit.ly/2U3wgpc

UPD: Moscow Pre-Finals Workshop 2020 will be held remotely.

Due to the epidemiological situation, as well as following the instructions of the Moscow government and the internal orders of the MIPT, we are forced to hold the Workshop completely online.

We will contact all the participants who have already registered and paid within two days.

The educational program of the Workshop remains the same:

  • access to the contests within three months after the beginning of the Workshop;
  • access to the video lectures and materials of the contest analysis;
  • access to the video lectures and materials of the lectures (for div.B);
  • electronic certificate of participation for the team.

The price of remote participation is 51000 rubles per team for participants from the EAEU countries and $1050 per team for participants from other countries.

The format of remote participation won't affect the quality of the Workshop. Our team and Moscow Workshops coaches will make every effort to provide participants with full support and comfortable training.

Registration for teams from EAEU countries: http://bit.ly/2U3wgpc

Registration for teams from other countries: http://bit.ly/2QvXliN
