Hello everyone! I have some exciting news to share from the TLE Eliminators team.

We are now making video solutions for the CSES Problemset, aiming to cover all the beginner-intermediate sections of the CSES Problemset such as Introductory Problems, Sorting and Searching, Sliding Window Problems, Bitwise Operations, Dynamic Programming, Graph Algorithms, Range Queries, Tree Algorithms, Mathematics, String Algorithms.

Why CSES? This is perfect for beginners and helps you do solid topic-wise practice, introducing you to all the standard concepts in a topic first. Once you know these, it becomes much easier to tackle random or new problems later on. We want to simplify this learning process for you.

We have made the following progress so far.

  1. Introductory Problems Set: Completed 100% — Playlist Link

  2. Searching and Sorting Set: Completed 100% — Playlist Link

  3. Sliding Window Problems Set: Completed 100% — Playlist Link

  4. Dynamic Programming Set: 1st half is done, 2nd half is in progress — Playlist Link

  5. Mathematics`: Being recorded, will be releasing soon.

A massive thank you to Kathan Vakharia (KathanV, Linkedin) for creating the video solutions for the first 3 sets, and to Viraj Chandra (khnhcodingkarlo, Linkedin), for managing everything in this project end to end. We are also getting more folks from the TLE team to contribute.

We also want to thank you all for the amazing love and support you showed for our other content, especially the CP-31 Sheet and Post Contest Discussions. The CP-31 Sheet is a collection of hand-picked Codeforces problems which introduce you to common concepts in a rating, while our Post Contest Discussions provide video solutions for CP contests to help in upsolving.

We've created video solutions for every problem from 800 to 1600 rated on that sheet and have posted over 400+ contest solutions so far. The comments on those videos were just incredible, and we saw how much you were learning. This made us realize we need to bring more high-quality, free video content to the community, which led to this CSES project.

One final update: We have completed the video solutions for the CP-31 sheet problems up to 1600 rating, and we plan to have the rest of the CP-31 video solutions wrapped up by the end of the year. All this and much more is available on our Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@TLE_Eliminators

Hello, Codeforces!

We, the team at TLE Eliminators, are glad to announce the 2nd Anniversary of our Post Contest Discussion Series on Youtube.

These discussions were born out of a simple but crucial idea, the importance of Upsolving, which helps you identify gaps in your knowledge and directly results in growth in your CP ability.

How it started:

4 years ago, when I was actively participating in Codeforces contests, I used to have a post-contest call with my ICPC teammate — parth20, to discuss problems and our ideas. As I went on to start my Youtube channel later, I realised that upsolving was a major issue for most people, especially beginners who struggled to read text editorials. That's when I started uploading the recordings of our calls on Youtube and to my surprise, it blew up. We started getting 4-5k views on average on each video.

Later, as I started TLE Eliminators and got busy with other things in life, I could hardly find time to attempt contests or discuss their solutions. However, I knew there was a gap here and I genuinely wanted to continue contributing. As, our revenue from paid courses grew, we could get other skilled competitive programmers to contribute to this. Now, it has been over 2 years since I stopped doing these discussions myself without getting inconsistent in posting them on Youtube.

How it is going:

In the past 2 years, and with your support, we have achieved the following milestones: - Covered solutions for 350+ contests from Codeforces, Codechef and Leetcode. - Delivered 500+ hours of video content which got over 2 million views.

A big shout-out and heartfelt thanks to our team of CP mentors who've contributed to this initiative and without whom, this would have never been possible: Queue, itzzRaghav, khnhcodingkarlo, CoderAbhi27, Prady, harsh2209gupta, Soumojitkgp, accord, Ankit_132, aknov711, thisIsMorningstar, 18o3.

If you haven’t already, check out our YouTube channel for free post-contest discussions and editorials. We post the videos right after the contests to ensure you don't make an excuse to not upsolve contests. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/@TLE_Eliminators

In the coming year, we are going to make these discussions even better with your feedback that you all have shared. Don't forget to drop your thoughts, suggestions, or ideas in the comments, we’d love to hear from you.

Stay tuned, and keep upsolving.

Hi folks! I have created a list of 31 problems in each rating from 800 to 1900 with nice reusable concepts.

Link to the sheet: https://www.tle-eliminators.com/cp-sheet

Who Am I?

Spoiler

How were the problems chosen?

Video

To choose the problems for a rating:

  • Went to the CF Problemset and filtered on that rating.
  • Started reading each problem starting from the latest problem.
  • Selected a problem if it was very interesting and contained an idea, result or algorithm which is reusable in a lot of other problems of similar difficulty.
  • Also got each problem reviewed by other high rated (CM and higher) folks to avoid a large personal bias in choice of ideas.

Overall:

  • Each problem is fairly new making it more relevant to the style of problems common in today's contests.
  • Each problem actually teaches you a nice idea. This introduces you to a lot of reusable ideas, in much lesser time compared to discovering them while solving random problems.
  • Problems are grouped by rating and not topic to prevent you from solving many problems from same topic in a row.

Progress

  • As Version 1, I initially selected the problems from 800 to 1200 rating a year ago, to check if people would actually like them.
  • The response was overwhelmingly positive. Seeing that, I extended the set to 1600 rating.
  • Post that I started getting requests to extend it to 1900 and add additional features.
  • In November last year, after seeing that 70000+ users had signed up to check out the problemset on our website, I along with my team at TLE Eliminators started working on Version 2 and it is finally here.

Additional features in Version 2

Preview
  • Video solutions: Solutions for every problem, uploaded week by week to guide you through the problems.
  • Improved UI: A sleeker, more user-friendly interface compared to V1.
  • Leaderboard: See where you stand among others and stay motivated.
  • Progress-sync with Codeforces: We sync your submissions with Codeforces to automatically mark the problems as done.
  • Discussion section: A place to connect with peers and exchange ideas.
  • Notes section: Take notes if you like keeping a track of learnt ideas.

In case you're interested in trying out these cool problems, you can head over to: https://www.tle-eliminators.com/cp-sheet. Be sure to drop in your suggestions or feature requests in the comments. I would also love to get feedback after you've tried out some problems.

Note: This is not for Candidate Masters and above as you might have guessed from the title. If you're X rated on Codeforces, I would recommend starting with problems rated X-200 to feel a little challenged and explore ideas more relevant for your skill level.
