Why Codeforces only let people change their handle only for a certain period of time? according to me this should be changed.

Like I may not feel to change my handle on that period of time but at the middle of any year I may like to change it.They can introduce options like you can only change your handle twice in a year of after 2 months, but for a specific period of time ? I think it's too much.
