Hi everyone,

You can dislike this post if you want but answer my question.

Today I want to ask you all a very serious & genuine question, I have been struggling on various platforms from a very long time, after 6-8 months I take pledge to do good in CP practice hell a lot, was active on codeforces, atcoder and leetcode as well.

But then I see some accounts of IGMs, LGMs (pre chatgpt era) they got that title with 15-20 contests and some even earlier.

I am a working professional thanks to my CP/dsa but still I felt ashamed that I could never ever reach near CM/closer to that.

Please someone guide me am I wasting my time to grind in CP, or it is achievable to become GM,IGM/LGM by only practice , ready to do 5-10 problems a day with full time job but is it worth??

Hey everyone

I'm just another competitive programmer who recently graduated from college. While most of my friends are diving into jobs, preparing for higher studies, or figuring out their next steps in life, I still find myself opening Codeforces out of habit. It’s like second nature now. Somewhere in the back of my mind, there’s this wild dream I can’t shake off—reaching LGM someday. In this blog, I’ll be sharing my contest-wise rating changes as I keep climbing, one contest at a time.

Contests:

1.) Codeforces Round 1033 (Div. 2) and CodeNite 2025 : +420

2.) Educational Codeforces Round 180 (Rated for Div. 2) : +416

3,) Codeforces Round 1035 (Div. 2) : +304

4.) EPIC Institute of Technology Round Summer 2025 (Codeforces Round 1036, Div. 1 + Div. 2) : +135 [Pupil]

5.) Codeforces Round 1037 (Div. 3) : +24 worst contest for me couldnt solve C

I need support of all two guide me through this journey. Help me reach what I aim to.
