Today's morning I got the following mail:
Attention!
****Your solution 151548513 for the problem 1660C significantly coincides with solutions xabialonso14/151529962, Mukundan314/151534091, harshgoyal185/151546638, skhan_org/151548513, rajeshpenugonda6/151566978, raushnn/151568699, Aksnov/151569233, RishabhVarshney/151570560. Such a coincidence is a clear rules violation. Note that unintentional leakage is also a violation. For example, do not use ideone.com with the default settings (public access to your code). If you have conclusive evidence that a coincidence has occurred due to the use of a common source published before the competition, write a comment to post about the round with all the details. More information can be found at http://mirror.codeforces.com/blog/entry/8790. Such violation of the rules may be the reason for blocking your account or other penalties. In case of repeated violations, your account may be blocked.****
However, I checked the solutions and found that only the template is same and the codes are completely different.
When I checked my account, there was no notification about it and the solution was also not skipped. But the strange part was that my rating was changed even though it shouldn't as Div.3 contests aren't rated for me.
If anyone has any idea about it then please comment below.
PS: I am guessing that all the solutions were skipped by the automatic system but after that, they realized that the codes are different. That's why they have taken everyone into the competition without realizing that the contest isn't rated for some people.
Auto comment: topic has been updated by skhan_org (previous revision, new revision, compare).
The age-old question is resolved in the affirmative
Yes! The contest is become rated. You can read more about this exciting change here!!
In all seriousness, I have no idea why it was rated. I checked a little and beethoven97 was rated too but I didn't see anyone else out of Div. 3.
Reverting plagiarisms overrides the rating threshold perhaps?
