I am working hard to Reach a specialist and I participated in the last div4 round and reached a specialist. Then I realize that it has become super easy to reach specialists. I think it would be best to make div4 only for newbies so they can be motivated and work hard . but don't make it rated for above 1200. MikeMirzayanov

I did not hit specialist on div 4 despite it being "easy", its definitely not easy, the bare minimum is a full solve. I hit in in the next round after the div 4 instead

Well, I don't think it's easy to become master through div2. Maybe you have the ability to become a master. I think CM can participate in Div2, because it's the transition stage from Div2 to Div1.
I tried to become expert from that last div 4. i failed(not completely), but still i was able to get my highest rating from the contest. so i believe your point is not completely invalid.

Stop worrying about your rating and start worrying about your knowledge.
Specialist (and my rank of expert) is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, you shouldn't be concerned about it being "too easy" to get there.
Maybe we should remove rating system form codeforces. What do you say?
