About

The Bay Area Programming Contest, a programming contest for precollege students, will be held on June 12 from 10 am to 2 pm PDT. Note that the contest has been pushed back by 1 hour to avoid colliding with Educational Round 130. You can check the converted time here. If you are not a precollege student, you can participate, but you will not be eligible for prizes.

The problems were created by EndlessVoid, GusterGoose27, pocafup, lce4113, and NightWizard777. Problem preparation was done by BucketPotato. Additional thanks to eggag32 and izhang for testing the problems.

Logistics

The contest will be conducted through our Codeforces group. Only those who fill out the registration form will be let in.

The contest will be $$$4$$$ hours long. Scoring will be regular ICPC rules (your score is based on the number of problems you solve with ties broken by time penalty, each wrong submission counts as a $$$20$$$ minute penalty). We have tried to sort problems by difficulty in both rounds, but remember to still read all the problems.

There will be a novice round and an advanced round. The novice contest is expected to have interesting problems for up to Div. 3 level contestants. All other contestants are encouraged to participate in the advanced round.

You can find the registration form and the contest rules on the website.

For more information, please join our Discord server or visit our website.

Thank you to the authors for putting together the problems!
