Why is 800 the lowest rating in codeforces?

I am struggling with 800R problems. 800 is too high for me. Why is 800 the lowest rating in codeforces

Actually any problem of difficulty <=800 is marked as 800R,there are certainly problems lower than 800 but they are displayed as 800 ,efficient way to select problems lower than 800 is to sort problem firstly by increasing order of difficulty and decreasing order of solve counts

It is definitely not too high for you, judging from you latest contests. If you try to solve like 50 of them, you most likely solve 40 of them under 30 minutes.

It's ok that sometimes you struggle to solve a 800 problem, it happens. Like in the previous contest I struggled with problem C, even though it would be marked as 1300-1500 problem.

I would probably suggest you to solve something like 1000-1100 problems.

You can go to to the last page. Older problem are most of the time easier than newer ones.
