    What makes you think that some one who is not Indian would be interested in knowing about the Indian New Year? After all the rest of the world celebrates Jesus's birthday AKA Christmas as the event for New Year

      I'm not specifying Indian people I'm specifying Indian New year festival which is related to "Vikram savant". So my wishes are for all the people doesn't mean Indian or non-indian.

        I had to check what "Vikram savant" was. Anyways perhaps you didn't understand my question so I'll repeat the question in a different way. Many countries have a different or a modified calendar and they don't come here flooding the board when there's a remarkable date in their calendar. What makes you think that this festival is of interest for the part of the world that doesn't use your particular calendar?

          First of all "Vikram samvant" is celebration of King Vikramaditya who was one of the greatest kings of India. Those who doesn't know about this, gain knowledge about this festival and King Vikramaditya should be interest for the part of the world.

I came onto this by coincidence, and I relate though different circumstance! "no-life" club during the christmas Hhh, staring at the screen, doing codeforces and waiting for the next contest.
