Mercy for the Syrians... We are dying

This is a call from every Syrian.

For the past 12 years, the Syrian people have been living under war and sanctions imposed by USA and many western countries, with only one hour of electricity per day, no fuel, no gas, no medicine, no medical aids available in pharmacies, we were living on the little aid that was provided by some humanitarian organizations.

Two days ago, we were in the middle of an earthquake measured by 7.7 Richter, and all the Syrians ran out into the streets at 4:17 AM, it was heavily raining, a stormy night. Some people slept out in the streets and more than 900 deaths were documented.

We are humans!

Many many people lost their houses, starving outside without food or heat. A lot of buildings are already damaged from the previous war, including old buildings that are currently unstable... More people are being cleared and sent to shelters which is causing more complications to provide help.

We are from a civilized country that has provided humanity with a lot. These sanctions are contraindicated with international law, it is against humanity.

Please pray for us and support us to take back our rights because we are in a catastrophic situation.

All we need is a peaceful life... is that a lot?!

Syrian people are crying... Stand with us against the oppression we face.

actually we need you to realise that if you don't want help syrian people at least do not utilization our suffering for your own benefit and keep in your mind that there are people who do that

that is so right..... we are living such a riscky life...and we need so much help ... especially when many syrian people lost their home and live in the street or live in fear at their unstable homes...plz pray for us... we deserve to live a better life...we deserve to live in peace...we need help ...thx Mauricio for helping us to spread our voices.

If you don't know/believe what US sanctions does mean, please go to any flights-site and just take a look on Syria. From several years till now, it is forbidden to any plane to come or cross over Syria (this includes the current situation and aids-planes). In these years, only Syrian planes work to-from Syria (the law actually even forbids selling or providing aircraft or spare aircraft parts (see here) to Syria, so we have limited and unstable several planes only) + some planes from sanctioned countries like Iran.

It is easy to see how planes avoid Syria while flying because Syria is located on the Gulf-Europe path. It is easy to see how planes avoid Syria while flying because Syria is located on the Gulf-Europe path.

The airplanes section actually is only one tiny example of the US sanctions, but it takes more importance now because of its role in delivering the aids. That is, now we have only the mentioned planes to deliver aids to Syria (+ till now, few countries broke the law and sent planes with aids like UAE, Iraq, Algeria which most probably made some tricks to avoid the sanctions like sending undefined planes).

The same thing is applied to every product. The only way to import products to Syria is by hiding our identity by using very long chains of traders (however they still follow us and break the chains) which made either huge shortage of products or very high raising in the prices. At the same time, this cannot be used for every thing like huge machines for removing the debris or the sensitive expensive hospital machines. These sanctions are the most brutal sanctions on people ever. It is your choice to ignore all facts and believe Colin's Powell descendants.

I pray to God to protect the people of Syria and keep them away from all evil. I know donations are complicated and may not reach people who truly need them due to sanctions and so, but if there is any trusted way possible I am sure many would be willing to do their best. I hope the conditions in Syria become better and better.
