In open hacking phase , there is no positive points for successful hacks and no negative points for unsuccessful hacks. it's just open for training on hacking unlike regular codeforces rounds.
on the counterpart: do you FST in educational rounds?
You can, but the only extra tests that are added to the system tests are succesful hacks.
