I was thinking about a new feature to add in codeforces, What if codeforces became like the competitive games?
By that I mean that Codeforces can have a current season running in which the first few contests will determine your rate in the season with also considering the rate you ended with in the previous season.
I think it will be a cool idea and will make the website more competitive based.

We could also have "badges" for achievements within a season. For example, number of problems solved that are rated >= your rating + C , where C can be a little bit negative or positive, it depends (stimulates solving harder problems and actually improving)
