GOD_0F_DEATH's blog

By GOD_0F_DEATH, history, 15 months ago, In English

Hi! Just wanted to ask, is there any way to hide ALL blogs from lowrated users in recent actions? DO NOT CONFUSE WITH "Hide low rated blogs" option in settings.

Of cource, MikeMirzayanov will never add this feature to site, because it would be an absolute ratism, but maybe someone has a plugin for it? Asking this just because I really tired from seeing tons of pointless and timewasting blogs in "Recent actions", 90% of which comes from grays, greens, cyans and sometimes blues. No offence (really), just my personal experience.

Btw, does anyone feel the same? Thanks in advance!

I think < 2100 shouldn't be allowed to post blogs. Hit downvote if you agree 👉

Ah, the master of profound observations has spoken again. Your wit is truly blinding.

How could I ever hope to match the brilliance that radiates from your scathing critique?

I once came across a plugin that did this here, but only for comments (the author said that they plan to do it for blogs a few years ago) and it might have the drawback that the recent actions can sometimes become empty (this happens when you check "hide low rated blogs" too).

The only solution for the mentioned drawback is exposing an API that uses the remaining recent actions in the queue after removing the undesirable ones (at least for the "hide low rated blogs" feature).

Oh, So racist comments are supported nowadays, I see. You are certainly targeting Indians.

Well technically you made it racist. I've targeted people who have been annoyed of div2 social stuff and I've considered they also annoyed of q-word.

If you use uBlock origin, "Tip 3" of https://mirror.codeforces.com/blog/entry/113279 has a filter that hides everything in comments/recent actions from users cyan or lower. It's pretty easily extended for any color range.

I would too be interested in the development of such a plugin.

I think that if you aren't a GM or at least a master, you shouldn't be able to comment or post blogs, as you are useless.

Ratism is the natural order and Mike should implement this feature immediately.

I agree that most of the blogs are just timewasting and pointless. But some blogs are funny or so stupid that there comment section is funny, you'll miss out on the fun :). On a serious note, what about two separate channels for blogs, one with only high-rated users (teaching some topics or something really informative), and a more general channel where people post their doubts and questions.
