What would be a good rating for me? I'm around 14 (still in junior high school) and am quite good at computer science (top of class) and practice CP daily.

don't do too much 800 problems. Do problems above or 1100 rating. Then your rating will be increased gradually.

Some Chinese already have 3000+ at your age. You need to train more!

I would suggest that instead of doing CP daily, you should pay more attention to mathematics at the moment, especially algebraic mathematics like pnc binomial seq and series, which are more relevant to cp and also helps for general thinking. you could give a contest or so once a week (i myself am 15yrs old and when i was 14 i used to do a lot of cp but my rating wouldnt change but then i shifted my attention to mathematics and its been effective as you can see from my previous contests, the one's which i gave in 2023). An average 14 yr old can reach 1200-1400 in my opinion just by doing maths and knowing how to write a code. If you say whether or not do i have to study for cp separately from some source, i wouldn't suggest that right not, at this moment you should try proving every algorithms by yourself. Also i would suggest indulging into web development, app development, machine learning , etc if you are interested in Computer Science in general.

It’s not a matter of age, if you understand well and try hard, you can become a grandmaster while still a schoolboy

Just do it as long as you like it, if you really do like it, and really do work hard then your rating is gonna improve at some point, in general, if you don't feel like practicing, just don't, forcing yourself to practice is worse than no practice. If you don't want to take some contest, don't, if you do want to take it, but you think you'll lose rating, still take it. In general, just do what you feel like :) There's no point forcing yourself to do something. Also, about expected rating, if you really are honest with yourself, and do practice sufficiently hard (basically you feel like practicing a lot of times) I think a good rating is 1900ish
