The China team selection ended today, the top 4 are:

Zhou Kangyang (zhoukangyang)

Guo Yuchong (Kubic)

Huang Luotian (MagicalFlower) and

Shen Jiyu (Crysfly)

They will participate in IOI2024. Good luck!

In addition to taking absolute advantage in China Team Selection, Kangyang also has very deep and innovative thoughts that are capable of giving incredible observations to some long-standing questions.

For example, he pushed the theoretical complexity of the combinatorial sieve of multiplicative functions from $$$\tilde O(n^{2/3})$$$ into $$$\tilde O(\sqrt n)$$$, aligning with the analytical methods of Lagarias-Odlyzko from three decades past. (for more details, this link.)

He also gave an interesting solution to a counting problem which pleasantly surprised me a lot. Hope that this beautiful solution will be revealed to everyone in later soon! :)

    Remember, it's important to solve tasks, but the ability depends not only on solving tasks. The success needs many factors, like a good environment, strong resources, and support from family and schools, they're very significant especially in China.
