I accidentally ruined a round

I blacked out and completely forgot to set the timer for publishing a screencast, instead publishing it right away. I'm very sorry. My apologies to the authors and the whole community.

    "Will suffer a lot"

    How much will you suffer? It's like you participated in a virtual contest. Rating is just a number, if you got + delta this round what makes you think that you can't get + delta next rounds? Remember that this is ELO rating, and it will correct itself over time, so the affect of this round getting unrated will vanish after a few more contest participations.

      Yes mister I will suffer . I'm not an expert like you. I don't have ability like you to perform consistently , even this contest was already unrated for you. Moreover, as I heard from other people, that screenCast didn't reach to that much people.

          just because you don't care about rating doesn't mean other people don't as well some people just want to get a rating good enough to put on a resume and be done with codeforces

            Well in my opinion those people are stupid and CP is not for them. You are not a real programmer if you do CP just for your resume, and i would have 0 respect for that kind of person. This behavior is also what motivates cheaters to cheat.

            Also i was responding to the comment, i didn't say the statement "No-one cares about ratings" although i believe that's how CP should be.

            Also by "not caring" i didn't mean that you shouldn't practice or try to get higher rating. i meant that you shouldn't suffer by something stupid such as "losing rate" or in this case, not getting the + delta you would have lost if the round was unrated.

I every time noticing how cheaters uploading the problem solves of rounds, but often they are have 1000-1600 rating. This time it was from legendary Um_nik. That is really history

There is no point in making the contest unrated.Most people still do it on their own. Cheating happens in every contest. Nothing good will come of those who cheat.

i don't think the round should be unrated , cuz this happens every contest , but the plagiarism checker must focus on the last 3 problem x10 than usual

        No. I posted a recorded screencast. Since I solved everything in 1 hour, there was enough time to upload the video before the end of the contest.

        You understand that it's about round 929 (div.3), right?

          I see, ok.

          Yeah, I do. I thought that you by mistake started streaming instead of delaying it by 2 hours or so. In this case I was curious how long before the start of the round you started streaming as I was surprised that nobody messaged you in this period to inform you about it. Didn't realize that finishing early you were able to start uploading it right now.
