Recently I've hit Specialist twice but I'm having a hard time maintaining it. I can't get consistent in contests. My recent performances say it all. (Global round was a troll by the way)

I'm currently practicing 1500's and I plan to solve atleast 100 of them because I don't feel much comfortable while solving 1500's. I also feel very pressurized when I see standings during contest or if I get anything but Accepted verdict on speeforces problems. Any tips on how to maintain consistency?

I think it's good to practice problems of your level. However, it's better when you have the ability to solve problems which you haven't encountered in your life, i.e. problem-solving skills. Just doing problems without learning anything, may only help when you face the same or similar problems.

What I will suggest is, do problems just above your current level, i.e. the problems you may solve, but not instantly. Solving problems just after reading them, you won't learn anything, as most likely you have done similar problems before. Setting the difficulty too high isn't great as well, you will lose motivation to do problems, or almost certainly end up not solving them. After solving shuch problems, you will see how you improve with each problem solved.

Upsolve problems that you couldn't solve in the contests (especially the ones that you didn't do too well on)
