Can tourist sets new records on Codeforces?

Hi everybody,

You may still remember, tourist used to have hard times from November 2023 to February 2024. He lost his usual first place, even out of the top 10 users for about two months on Codeforces.

But now he is returning, with many consecutive rounds holding the first place. By getting first place in yesterday's contest — Pinely Round 4 (Div. 1 + Div. 2), his rating has changed from 3880 to 3947 (+67 delta). With the current rating (3947), tourist has a chance greater than ever to break through the highest rating ever achieved on Codeforces (3979, also achieved by him on Jan 22, 2022). Furthermore, he also has the opportunity to create a 4000+ milestone on Codeforces.

If he achieves first place in the next Div. 1 or Div. 1 + Div. 2 Round, all of these wonderful records will turn into reality.

What do you think? In my personal opinion, as a fan of tourist, I believe that he can do it!

imo, if tourist does reach 4000+(which I believe he will), he would have wayyyy more than 67,616 followers :)

Yes, tourist is on the verge of breaking his own highest rating record and nearing the unprecedented milestone of a 4000+ rating on Codeforces with his recent performance. As his fan i believe that he can achive this milestone soon.

After 4000 rating codeforces should introduce a new title Unbeatable Dragon Master. Would love to see Tourist in this title.

      Yes they should do it. As on atcoder he is the only one who achieved King title. Noone can actually compete with him in online competitions.

I believe coders with ratings exceeding 4000 should have their usernames displayed in a distinct color.

I think the funniest outcome for if someone reaches 4000 is it modularly overflows, but they keeps the black first letter. If they get LGM again, they will have two black letters, and if they overflow, they keep them. Once they gets their entire handle to be black letters, they get promoted to headquarters.

    Your opinion is so interesting and funny :) But I think Codeforces should only revert them to Master instead of Newbie. Since a Newbie cannot participate in Div. 1 Rounds, I think it's horrible when other LGMs also pass the 4000 rating and they will cause chaos in Div. 2,3,4 Rounds :)
