Rating Decrease

Hello Codeforces,

I have attempted contest Codeforces Round 962 (Div. 3) after that my Codeforces rating was 1335, till yesterday, it was same. Just today, as I logged in, its showing 1178 as my rating, by the time, I didn't received my notification why my rating has been decreased. Kindly look into the matter.

It is because your previous contest got skipped (probably due to cheating). So it went unrated for you.

    Cheating! How? I didn't even receive any mails from Cf and why would I cheat even after knowing the cf's policies. I didn't did anything like that

      I wouldn't put it down to cheating, and instead, it's probably due to Codeforces "overating" you. Based on your recent performances(no offense) but your skill level isn't quite at a "near-specialist" level. And sometimes Codeforces glitches and assigns you a higher rating than what matches your skill during a rating rollback. So I assume that was what happened, and they adjusted your rating accordingly.

        Naah, I viewed his profile and he got his contest on July 18 (The NEAR one) got skipped. It maybe due to accidental leakage of code, or cheating I don't know for sure, but the rating decrease was definitely due to the skipped contests

      I don't know, it is just that your contest on July 18 got skipped according to the your submissions history. And the rating decrease was due to that.

      you definitely cheated, your code for A, B and C (in the NEAR Div1+Div2 contest) matches almost 100% with the leaked codes.

Okay, thanks @debashishnayak2005 and @Red0 for helping me with the possible reasons. I don't have any reasons to cheat. I am 1900+ rated on LeetCode .As I am new to CF, I don't know about the policies of CF.

your solutions got skipped ,that's why after rating rollback your ratings got decreased.
