Strange things happened in IOI 2024! (with China IOI team)

Four students from the China IOI team participated (https://mirror.codeforces.com/blog/entry/125488) in IOI 2024. However, in the standings (https://stats.ioinformatics.org/results/2024), one member, Jiyu Shen, had no points at all. Why?

I thought China wins four gold medals every year..

      That in and of itself does not really guarantee anything. The participants most likely had been instructed not to bring their phones.
