Why are all the cool competitive programmers, like grandmasters and masters, fans of anime?

I believe I know why. Birthplace of anime is east ASIA, specifically CHINA.

Chinese influence over Competitive Programming is huge, therefore anime is prevelant.

Therefore, we should not question this, but take it as a sign of how strong a team China is.

1/2 of Japanese language originates from China. Japan has all to thank from China.

The truth is coming to light.

Research here: Anime shows that China is starting to regain their deserved control over the anime industry.

      Such is the truth.

However, Japanese language is very beautiful UwU, more so than Chinese UwU

I never said anything about languages here, all I have said is said Anime originated from Japan which is true.

1/2 of Japanese language originates from China has nothing to do with the above statement.

Also the link you have provided literally said "Is China taking over anime industry?" Which doesn't say anything about Anime originating from China, it just talks about Chinese anime popularity rising.

        Proof of anime origins.

Your article explains such: "Kagee was popular during the Edo period and originated from the shadows play of China."

Hence I do beg you: how can we say Japan owes not to China, when even drawing style and animation ideas originated from China?

Indeed, you have also misread my statemnt: I did not say anime originated from China. Still however, China is a more dominant force does remain dominant in every aspect.

Drop your arrogance man. The strength of China is patiently learning from the best to do better itself, not blindly advocating its leading-role in everything and stuck in the spot.

Isn't that interesting! I've seen 6 programmers set their pfp on Codeforces as Messi but 0 of them set C.Ronaldo.

many competitive programmers are fans of anime because it’s really popular and has a lot of different types of shows. anime is a great way to relax and take a break from coding, and the stories often include themes of working hard and overcoming challenges, which can be inspiring.
