Hi CF community!

I have been doing CP for 3 years now and have mostly learnt through 1. videos 2. blogs 3. cp-algo/USACO. (I think there is too much content on youtube on DSA and CP)

Also, I have always wanted to make some novice content on YouTube but I also do not want to be the part of View eaters who make unnecessary long videos on DSA just to make money. Hence, I have decided to take a survey here: 1. What kind of content would you like to see? (example: brainstorming sessions on problems.. or teaching new topics with a twist of personal experience that would make it really interesting?) 2. Any topic or problemset you would like to see covered?

Also, I have a kind request: I'm just trying to do something meaningful with my life, been really bored and sad for a while since I have not been doing much for while now so please do not show hate to this, constructive criticism is welcome.

Thanksss :)

I would like to see these things :-

  1. How to construct ideas from scratch, I mean all the(not all but ya mostly) they told us how to solve that particular problem but the main thing that general idea the pattern thing they don't teach, i would love to see such kind of content about how to approach how to get unstuck if you are getting same ideas again and again kind of stuffs.

  2. How to debug fast, or atleast how you do so, being an expert you have a lot of experience about that, and that will be really helpful if you share your experience about these things.

As topics and all can be learnt from a lot of sources but these things no one really teaches or maybe these things are not which can be taught but yes I would highly appreciate if you try to make such content.

    Thanks for the comment!

Yeah I think you're right! most of them only are about teaching a topic but not how to think. This is mostly a experience thing imo but for a person who's about to begin their journey at cf, it can be overwhelming.

I'll add from my exp about the points you mentioned.

I would prefer videos where someone just picks up a random problem and starts solving it. No idea of difficulty / topic anything

i would like to see videos that explain intuition behind algorithms/data structures/why they are implemented the way they are, not just telling me this works, but also whats the big idea behind it, i think this is very important to grasp a concept
