Dear people, I have decided to try a codeforces experiment to answer the question:

What will happen to me if I solve 5-20 problems a day (20 on the weekends or something) for the next 365 days?

Assuming that I will solve 5 problems on Monday — Friday and 20 on Saturday and Sunday, I will solve (5*5+2*20)/7=65/7 which is 9.3 problems on average in a day. That will be 365*9.3=3394,5 problems in the next year.

Assuming that I will not break those rules, what do you think will happen? What do you think my rating will be? What do you think will happen with my mind and mental health? Also, I'm not talking about solving 3000 800 — 1100 problems, I'm talking about 1600 for now and when it gets easy I will increase the difficutly. I probably will break those rules, but not a lot — I will still do A LOT of problems.

In case something happens to me, I will have BooeyTheDeltoidroaster or BornaM make a blog or comment here about it. You will also be able to see if I was solving problems recently.

Do not be scared for me, I will try to take as much care of myself as I can. Just take this as a simple experiment with humans.

good luck, wait you not get frustated when you feel stuck in a problems, is better take your time in hard problems for a better rating than solve a 100 easy problems :p

Sometimes speed can't decides your improvement.

I mean,if someday you find that there is not so many time to do the problem which you may improve, you may do some easy problem instead to finish your goal,it's useless.

Maybe i think 2-3 problems a day during weekdays and 5-10 in weekends is better.(Because you can have more time to think, improve your logic thinking skills.)

All in all, hope you can do that!

I believe in quality over quantity. And giving too much pressure on your mind can lead to a decrease in Rating. Solving 5 problems is okay, but if you spend more than 5 hours a day without break. Then it will definitely make you worse.

Note that: These are my thoughts and experiences. Although I am not an expert coder, taking a break helped me to increase my skill. Correct me if I am wrong.
