Hey everyone!

I’ve been thinking—wouldn’t it be awesome if Codeforces added a Head-to-Head (H2H) Battle Mode?

Instead of the usual contests, this mode would let two users go 1v1, solving the same problem. How it could work: - You challenge a friend or get matched randomly. - Both players choose a difficulty level and they are given one problem at that difficulty.

Now, part of the inspiration came from TikTok.

If you’ve ever seen multo_tiko, you know how wild those TikTok H2H battles can get. He was insanely competitive—and honestly, I want all of us to be that fired up when we code. Bringing that kind of energy into Codeforces could make training and battling even more fun.

If you are in any discord servers with the TLE bot, you can do duels, though there's no random matching

There is already a website that does this, although it's in Chinese: https://algorithm-duels.online/

One issue is that many Codeforces users are way stronger than their rating suggests, which could lead to unfair matchups. To combat this, you could have a separate duels rating
