Hello everyone!
We'd like to announce an olympiad style contest that will be held on our new Olympicode Judge — the Olympicode Open Olympiad!
What is the difficulty level and format of the contest?
The contest is envisioned as a warm-up for the IOI and similar international olympiads. So, it will be two days with 3 IOI-style tasks and the contest will be 5h. It will probably, on average, easier than the IOI, but it should still be fun for OI-level participants.
When is the contest?
The first day will be on Saturday, July 5 2025 at 09:30 UTC, while the second day will be on Sunday, July 6 2025 at 09:30 UTC.
Which programming languanges are allowed?
The only supported languages will be C++ and Python.
Who can participate?
Everyone is welcome to participate (as the name says!).
How do I register?
Head over to olympicode.rs and register. That's it!
Will there be rewards?
The top 5 participants will get Olympicode-branded hoodies.
Who is setting the tasks?
Most of the tasks are authored by me :-), with one task authored by the Yoneda twins: E869120 and square1001!
If you're not acquainted with me or my problems, MladenP created a collection of some of my problems in this group, as well as conducted an interview, a while back.
Who is creating the contest?
I'd like to thank MladenP and milisav for the brilliant Olympicode platform :-). They'll also be participating in preparing and testing this contest, as well as handling stuff on the back-end.
Will the system crash and burn?
Hopefully not! If, however, you notice a problem, please use the "Report issue" button on the website.

Wtf Strong
Wow, the design of your OJ is probably the best design I have ever seen for an online judge.
Thanks, that means a lot considering I spent the last 4 months designing and building it from scratch :)
Since it's in IOI format, does that mean that we have to start creating the program files after the contest starts, and that we won't be able to search on Google during the contest?
We will publish the rules a bit before the contest, still debating internally on some things
thanks
hello
Will we have editorials of the problems after the contest?
Definitely! Hopefully right after, but maybe with a slight delay.
Thanks a lot!

Will it hold contests frequently like Codeforces, or will it have contests after long periods?
For now, we don't expect to host original contests on a regular basis. More likely, we will try to host virtuals of existing competitions/olympiads (especially those which are less known).
Are we getting cool ranks like on Codeforces?
Maybe in the future, when we host more contests. Do you have any cool ideas for ranks? :)
Recruit → Trainee → Ronin → Vanguard → Champion → Ultimate Champion → Grandmaster → Epic Grandmaster → Legendary Grandmaster → {name}

We moved the Olympiad 30 minutes earlier on both days, so it's compatible with the CF rounds this weekend.
As a reminder, please let us know if you encounter any issues with the platform (especially for registration).
Also, update the time in the blog as well.
Thanks for the reminder, updated

The contest starts tomorrow, make sure to check out the platform a bit before participating!
Several of us could not register. At first it says "Unknown error occured", then after second try, it displays "Username is already taken", "Email is alredya registered". But when I try to sign in, again "This username is not registered".
Our mailing service failed a couple of hours ago. All the registrations were successful.
Mails for verification have been resent. Can you please check again?
We are really sorry for the issue.
Yeah before an hour of start, we all got email verification. That was really joyful to solve these problems, hope your team will keep managing OI style contests more.
Very cool problems!!!
Do you plan to release Day1 standings?
Check out the recent blogs, already published standings and editorials!
I cant see it in recent actions
Weird, here it is: Blog
When will we be able to upsolve problems?
I just made the problems public, upsolve away!
Thanks
