At the same time, it’s understandable that this very transparency can create pressure to protect or inflate one’s score, sometimes at the expense of fair play. Removing the public rating could ease that tension, allowing participants to concentrate on problem-driven learning and peer collaboration without the fear of rank-related judgment. In this environment, both newcomers and veterans would feel free to experiment, ask questions, and contribute solutions simply for the love of algorithms, rather than feeling compelled to chase or defend a numerical badge.
