Hi, guys! Today, 18.07.2025 i've finally reached pupil. And i wanna share my road to it. About year ago, i've aimed to become pupil, and thought it ll be easy. But i was unserious in it. So in 01.06.205 i've finally became so serious to become pupil. And maybe for someone it was so easy, but it wasnt easy for me. I had a bunch of failure and tears. Sometimes i cheated, but it was like 2 years ago almost, and after it i realized that it wont help me, so i decided to move on by my own. So its my road to pupil. And maybe i will fail in the future, maybe not. But i understood, that any mistake and failure is makes us stronger. So if my story is close to yall, maybe it is a sign -- to not give up. Okay, i gave promis to myself. That by the end of summer, i'll become specialist atleast, and expert atmost. Let's see what will i get. I will be stronger day by day, that's is my main promise. Could you pls share more about your training method? Do you train yourself just by doing passed contestes to gain proficiency and to form intuition with the 3 first problems or you were training topic by topic and doing contestes is actually a sidework? I wonder more details if it's possible. I know that persistence is also required, as you said. Bst wishes
Nothing special, just doing 100 problems of each raiting. For example now im trying to do 1400 raiting problems, and i guess its optimal way, if u are comfortable with 1400 problems move on, and e.t.c. And also about theory. Im learning theory from USACO guide, and algomaxx site. But as a practice, i prefer cf. Just solve problems as much as u can, and try to implemetn it by urself, but editorial is also important.
