I got that extension. But it predicted +9 rating change for me for a contest. I ended up getting +85! How accurate is this thing...

Usually it's pretty accurate after your rating is stable, actual rating gain can be around 5-10 points higher though due to it underestimating other users
Yes I am new and it was only my fifth contest.
