Hello Codeforces! At 14, I’ve reached three milestones that prove age is no barrier to ambitious goals: Conquered Harvard’s legendary CS50 course — the one many adults drop halfway through Written and published my first book on decision-making Built and launched my own learning & project platform from scratch No formal CS background — just persistence, curiosity, and a lot of debugging (in code and in life).

This is the full story — the challenges, the strategies, and why I believe mindset matters far more than age in tech. (You can see the full post here: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1DKy9HBr39/) Hello everyone! I have three incredible milestones to share — and I’m both excited and humbled to reveal them. At just 14 years old, these achievements show that age is no barrier to serious learning, creativity, and impact.

I COMPLETED Harvard’s most demanding computer science course: CS50 — and I didn’t just pass, I thrived. Harvard’s CS50 is globally known for its rigor and challenge. Many struggle for months. But I finished it at 14, with projects that reflect real skill and deep understanding. I built a dedicated website sharing my journey, insights, and projects here — https://www.aylinmuzaffarli.com/cs50-at-14/ I also recorded two videos telling my story step by step: My final project: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Af-RKM2OfQ&t=2s

I PUBLISHED MY FIRST BOOK — System One — now available on Amazon! This book explores how our brains make lightning-fast decisions, often without our awareness — shaping how we learn, act, and succeed. Available in both Kindle and paperback: Kindle eBook: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FL7QVBFM

Paperback: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FLD454M8

I OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED my personal website — now at my own domain! Welcome to https://www.aylinmuzaffarli.com — your hub for all my projects, ideas, and ongoing journey.

About “CS50 at 14” — My Learning Journal: This site is a curated testament to my deep dive into Harvard’s toughest computer science course. It includes my motivations, reflections on challenges and growth, and my final project, Atomaroid — a platform built to empower Russian-speaking students preparing for physics Olympiads. Why share this? Many underestimate what’s possible at 14. The truth: age is not the limit — mindset and consistency are. If you’ve ever felt stuck or doubted yourself, I hope my story reminds you that barriers are often in our own minds — built by fear or comparison. You don’t have to wait or fit a mold. You just need to start — deeply, seriously, consistently.

A special, heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported me — especially my family. Your unwavering love and belief have been the foundation of every step I take. Words cannot fully express how deeply grateful I am for your endless support, patience, and kindness. You inspire me every day to reach higher and become the best version of myself. This journey is as much yours as it is mine.

The biggest transformations start with small, brave steps. Let’s take them together. Wishing you all success on your own journeys!
