We are proud to introduce the first actually Orz Chat.

You simply open the site, and boom — you’re instantly matched with a random person to chat with. No sign-ups, no waiting, no fuss.

Since it hasn’t been exposed to the whole internet yet, chances are high you’ll be talking to fellow orz people.

Try it now and see who you meet.

UPD1: New sharing option!

Now you can share your chat history with friends or save interesting conversations! Just click the Share Chat button in the interface and get a link to send or keep. The text is automatically formatted to show who said what.

UPD2: Orz Chat CLI

Now you can chat directly from your terminal without opening a browser, just type orzchat in terminal to start chatting.

UPD3: Notifications

We know it is frustrating to visit orzchat.com when it is quiet, and much more fun when the site is packed. That is exactly why we designed a brand new notification system! Just accept it to get an alert whenever there is a surge of users online, so you always join the chat at the best possible time.

UPD4: Private Rooms

You can now create private, isolated chat rooms instantly for quick coordination with friends or discussing problems without clutter.

  • Custom URLs: Simply add any room name after the slash. For example: orzchat.com/codeforces or orzchat.com/whatever. Anyone with that specific link can join.
  • One-Click Private Chat: Click the New private chat button located on the bottom part of the page to automatically generate a unique, shareable link.

Funny platform. Opened 5 chats. 3 were almost certainly bots. 1 called me the n word and ended the chat after I pre-emptively called them a clanker. And finally I got an actual normal codeforces user.

When this was new it was actually quite wholesome.

Now everytime I want to find someone to chat with I get paired with freaks asking about 18+ things =((. Wondering if anybody is experiencing the same issue?

Lot's of randos starting with M or F. Seems slow, I got disconnected a lot of times (sometimes mid sentences).

    This is expected. If your chat partner leaves the session, you get disconnected. After that, you can either reload the page to start a new chat or use the share button to share the last messages with your friends
